Building  Capacity for Responsible AI in K–12

We are on a mission to up-skill 25,000 school leaders, so every district has the confidence, tools, and internal champions needed to lead AI adoption from within.

Aspire connects educators, policymakers, and AI leaders to create a unified approach to safe and effective AI in schools.#TogetherWeAspire
who we are

501(c)(3) Non-Profit

Aspire Together is an industry partner—not a vendor—helping schools take their first steps into AI with confidence, clarity, and care.

We believe Arizona’s schools can lead the nation in responsible AI adoption—not by outsourcing solutions, but by building internal capacity and empowering the educators who know their communities best.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we work alongside district leaders to train trusted internal champions, support educator-led innovation, and build sustainable systems that protect teachers and center students—every step of the way.

Arizona’s K–12 is at a Crossroad

AI is moving faster than schools can keep up. Districts lack the internal expertise to responsibly evaluate, adopt, or manage AI tools. School leaders are often untrained in critical areas, yet they’re expected to make high-stakes decisions.

HOw we help

The Aspire AI Champion Program

We upskill your internal AI Champion to become a trusted leader in responsible AI adoption. Our program goes beyond awareness—it's a capacity-building experience that equips educators to lead with clarity, confidence, and care, tailored to the unique needs of their school community.

Phase 2: Practice
Leaders gain practical experience building and testing AI use cases—moving from theory to innovation with confidence and creativity.

Phase 3: Implement
Participants leave with a vetted, ready-to-launch AI plan—complete with internal policies, communication strategies, and implementation frameworks.

A Message from our Executive Director

"As a mother of two K–12 children, a homeowner, taxpayer, and AI innovator committed to the economic future of Arizona—I consider myself a key stakeholder in how we adopt AI in education.

I’ve seen firsthand the dedication of our educators—and the urgent need for stronger support inside our schools. Our students deserve every opportunity to succeed, and that requires more than tools. It requires a united effort.

By working together—educators, policymakers, and AI leaders—we can ensure our education system evolves with integrity and purpose. Together, we can build a stronger, more equitable future for every child."

Why is AI integration important in K–12
    education now?

Aspire is Arizona’s AI Accountability & Advisory Council for K–12 Education. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Aspire was founded to ensure the responsible, ethical, and effective integration of artificial intelligence in our schools. We unite educators, policymakers, and AI innovators to support districts and empower students for an AI-driven future.

Aspire offers expert consulting in AI ethics, data privacy, vendor evaluation, curriculum integration, and impact assessment. We work side-by-side with school districts to guide responsible AI adoption, provide professional development for educators, and ensure AI tools meet high standards for safety, equity, and educational value.

AI is reshaping the future of work, and students must be prepared to navigate and lead in that landscape. Schools are under pressure to adopt AI tools quickly, but without proper guidance, implementation can be rushed or inequitable. Aspire exists to ensure that AI enhances education responsibly and effectively, without compromising student well-being or opportunity.

Aspire brings together a diverse coalition of stakeholders, including local educators, school leaders, policymakers, AI industry experts, and nonprofit partners. Our Advisory Council and operational teams work collaboratively to ensure every decision reflects the needs of students, the realities of classrooms, and the demands of emerging technologies.
